Do a search and you'll find several posts on Mustang boards with your exact problem. The BBK intake is tripping the check engine light because it's running lean. You'll need to purchase a tuner to fix the problem from Brenspeed, Bamachips, etc. They say "no tune" necessary, but it really needs a tune...
In the meantime, the only solution is to reinstall the factory intake and unhook the battery cable, which should work. If not have the code cleared for free at your local auto parts store.
