I have a spot on the front top edge of the hood and that's why they have to paint the top of the hood. The more that I read about this problem the more I'm going to push for a new hood. Has the fix they did on yours still working?

Good luck on the grind/paint job. They tried that on mine and it came back a couple months later. The only true fix is for them to get a new hood for you.

I read you post about it in another thread and I agree but the Dealer says he has to try and fix it first and if that don't work then it's a new hood. That's what the Ford reps are telling him.

So far its been good. time will tell.
