Ive had a bunch of Brenspeed tunes and i they are great. Are you using the correct octane for the tune? Try using a different gas station? Did you empty your tank before you switched to a tune with a different grade?
If it was fine for 2 weeks., it shouldnt just get sluggish unless something changed or stopped working.

Right; it shouldn't have. For some reason though, it does change... At least it changed on my car, and some others noted that it changed on theirs, too. Their answer was that a re-flash cures the problem, temporarily. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the computer code...? Mine is VBV1, BTW.

I'm pleased with my Brenspeed 93 tune. I think it is great for a daily driver. I believe their tunes come with adaptive learning modified, but not completely disabled. I asked about this before I ordered my setup from them. You should definitely ask them about that though, and maybe the Brenspeed Rep will even chime-in here.
I've reflashed my PCM a few times since installing my CAI / Tune, and it always seems more agressive right after the reflash. Though the last time i reflashed it, I drove it pretty hard afterwards, and was sure to get on it every once in a while thereafter, and it seems more aggressive on a consistent basis now. But like I said, my car is a daily driver so I think the tune is perfect. I don't want it to be balls to wall all the time (like the Bamachips race tune, I've heard), just when I mash the pedal to the floor every once in a while... and the Brenspeed tune accomplishes this, for me anyways.
EDIT: I do have a manual transmission, which might have something to do with it. I hear Doug at Bamachips makes one of the best tunes for automatics, where Brenspeed makes a strong tune for the manual transmission. Not sure the truth behind this though... but I have heard it from multiple sources.

Mine also seemed more aggressive after being flashed, and I flashed my Brenspeed 91 twice, before switching to the Bama tune. Both times with the Brenspeed, the car felt like a monster right after being flashed, but after a couple days of normal driving, including long freeway cruises, my low-end was gone. I don't mean just noticably a little weaker, I mean like nearly no torque below 2500 or so. Now I can cruise in 5th at 55 mph, and still cruise right up hills with cruise control on... Couldn't do that with the Brenspeed tune, but I could with the stock tune! I think it's great that some are happy with their Brenspeed tune, but I guess something's different on my car's computer...

I also have a 93 octane tune from brenspeed, and my tune gets weak after about 2 days worth of normal driving. As soon as i reflash my tune it works like a dream. Also i drive a 5 speed car so it happens on both types of transmissions. It is actually worse on a 5 speed if you ask me.
i have a bama 93 race tune on my 5 speed and it works great low and high. every now and then if i mash the gas from a roll in second there is a slight hesitation before i get rolling. im not sure if its cause i have the race tune or not but as soon as my car hits 3500 in any gear its like hitting a NOS button, and no i dont have NOS on my car. the hesitation is the only complaint i have with my tune.
I will try and detach my battery today. Re-flash, and see what happens.
Eventually I will call Brenspeed for guidance (I believe). I want the low end torque I previously had.
My car is used as a daily driver also. Mornings I drive stop go stop go. Evenings also. All other times I drive (mostly) open road 50+. I miss the old feeling when I first flashed. Thats all.
I've been running a Brenspeed tune for 1.5 years with none of the issues you bring up! I have a couple of steep grades on my commute and it takes them in 5th with ease. I would look elsewhere for your problem.

Ha! I did... I went to Bamachips. My Bullitt is absolutely stock under the hood... No problems whatsoever with the stock tune, except slow throttle response. Both the Brenspeed and the Bama tunes helped there, but the Brenspeed lost low-end.
So far, the Bama still feels strong down low. I don't know why, and don't care to diagnose the Brenspeed issue.. Not my job to get it straightened out for them. The tuner would have cost the same from either vendor, so I ended up paying an extra hundred, buying additional tunes. Live and learn. I won't bad mouth Brenspeed, but not likely to get any more tunes there, either.
The Bama tune is working fine for me right now.
