Default Can't get the car to hook

I cant get my car to hook, i got 17 cobras with Mt radials. i run 13.3 with a 60f of 1.9 i spin half of 1st gear. do the lower control arms work. Last time i run a 12.9 with a 1.8 60ft but i cant get it to that now, tires are still good.

LCAs will help. So will 3.73 or 4.11 gears. What air pressure are you running in the tires?

Yes LCA`S and UCA will get rid of the wheel hop. I would also get anti squat brackets,please weld them in. I run 18 psi in my MT`S . You need to heat them up real good also. Put out a good amount of smoke. Then your going to hook.

some drag radials and lca's got me to a 12.9 and a 1.90 60 foot

From what I am reading above I find it very, very hard to believe that you “know’ your tires are still good. As a matter of fact if I simply took the information given my guess would be that the tires are not good.

What are you basing “My tires are good on?”

Keep in mind that part of what I do for a living is to get traction out of something with as much as 200rwhp and a contact patch as big as your hand. I’m pretty good at diagnosing traction issues based solely on operator provided data.

That being said the above suggestions are all sound.
