Default Air Intakes with Saleen SC

So what types of air intakes are being used on Saleen SC's?

I am currently running a FRP 90 with the stock inlet tube. I was using the extreme rubber tube but since I went with a larger Supercharger coolant tank the inlet pipe created some clearance issues. I was looking at the WMS Velocity setup which looks good, and has a good concept, I also like the idea of the C&L plastic pipe but that would require replacing motor mounts. I open to your thougths etc.

Thanks

I am using what you used to run with the FRPP/Steeda CAI and Saleen Extreme tube. The only thing I dont like about it is after a month or so the tube losses its glossy black finish. While on the subject anything I can do to it to bring back that original look? Come to think of it the WMS would look pretty cool on the saleen blower. But I am happy with my setup though I am getting a new filter as slamming the hood on mine has bent some of the rows. I know Im picky.

I have a steeda inlet tube but it won't work with out some mods. I know I can run the c&l if I drop the motor with some different motor mounts.

I ran a C&L racer tube, Lightning MAF & sensor, and Steeda CAI for quite a while (with stock motor mounts) and it did fine until I moved beyond the ability of the 90MM MAF & sensor. I now run the Saleen Ultimate intake. It's 98MM and the MAF Sensor is good to 800hp. So I doubt I will ever need a different one.

Performance mods: Lets just say it's not stock.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

This IntelliTXT stuff sucks.

whan you ran the c&l did you have any clearance issues with the hood. I just ordered the c&l and some new motor mounts. I am going to try it with out the mounts first.

who tuned your car?

I would love to get the shaker, but too much $$$. So I had a custom CAI tube made for mine by Adam with ST Motorsports. My motor is still stock and I went from 421rwhp to 447rwhp with the new tube and a re-tune.

I have the WMSracing CAI with my Saleen.I think it works and looks great. You need the 95mm Tube for the SC from WMS. I have used this CAI when I was stock and with 93 Oct tunes from Brenspeed and now with the Saleen with a customer dyno'd tune.
7.5 lb pulley,39lb injectors made 442 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. My opinon is this is the most versatile CAI out there.

I think that is from a pure looks perspective one of the best setups out their. I contacted the crew at Brenspeed and they said they do not have an email tune for this setup. Thanks for the pictures.
