when i start the car up.. right under the drivers seat, or a litttle infront of that, under the car im hearing a wrattling.. could this be becuase the car is cold on startup? this only happens for 3-5 mins or so.

Then it's not the plate hitting the flywheel.

Could a exhaust heat sheild buzzing or perhaps a bad cat converter. If you can get under the car, try and hit this exhaust system with the palm of your hand or a rubber malet (this is with the engine and exhaust cold of course) and see if you can hear anything. I had a cat go bad after about five years and it rattled a lot at first start up until the exhaust flow pushed all the loose broken pieces to the rear of the unit while driving.
