Default Mutha Thumprs installed/Not so happy PART 2

well we searched all over for a vacuum leak, used a smoke machine and found nuttin' sprayed carb cleaner all over/all around,...NUTTIN! It still makes a very noticeable whine, ,(similar to a SC at idle,...not quite as loud). from about 2000 RPM to about 3500 RPM. It seems to be emanating from the top center of the engine. (We installed delete plates). It runs fine tho,...used a Mustang dyno, (electro-mechanical, I think) single drum, etc. I know it's not very accurate, but I figured it will give us a baseline to use w/ further power adders. The pull numbers were: 261HP/255 Torque and an almost flat AF ratio of 12.9@3800 RPM to 12.5@5800 RPM. Any guesses how these numbers would compare to other dynos? It still bucks at 40MPH/3rd, 45MPH/4th and 60MPH 5th, but We're still trying to smooth things out using the guys at SCT and adjusting the tune parameters. Doug says he hasn't ever experienced this before, so there's hope! Still usin' way more gas too,...and it's not my foot's fault! No codes either. Cleaning the MAF next.

Who is doing the tuning? and who did the install of the cams?

tune is from Bamachips. Install of cams was a local speed shop

The reason I asked is, its possable to get a cam out of time.

Your original tune is from Doug. has anyone been adjusting it on the dyno?

no, no dyno adjustments? We only changed the idle RPM via the SCT by 100 RPM. Nothing else

It sounds like you need some fine tuning and drive-ability adjustments.
Did Doug ask you to do some data loging to find out what's going on?

Doug wasn't around today. I've got an email and call in to him hoping to talk tomorrow. So far he hasn't asked for any other data. I think we both thought we had a vacuum leak.
