My car is going in for some possible work on the transmission. I have a SCT tillman tune in it and was wondering...They might need to upload some stuff. Is it safe for me to put the stock tune back in while they work on it. If they run the car with the stock tune in...with my JLT CAI, will it not hurt the car too much??? The car is there now, I kinda need a quick answer thanks.

The reason i ask is cuz if they mess up and start uploading crap on my computer I'm pretty sure it won't start with my tune in there.

If your going to load the stock tune back in you will need to install the stock filter setup. If you don't it will throw a chech engind lite

Oh yea if they flash your PCM, your Tillman tune won't work. You'll have to call Chris and have him change the strat code.

crappy, my car is already there, so I cant really install my stock filter set up. I told them not to upload anything tho...whether or not they will is another story. They better not.

oh yea bro,if its under warranty they will will find any excuse to not cover the expenses...hope they dont screw you...
i was recently at a ford dealer and the tech told me my k and n oil filter would void the warranty...sounds stupid but i believe him....they find excuses for everything so they wont have to cover the tab.

If you have a good repore with the service shop, I would call them and ask them to call you if they need to flash the PCM.

ya I gave them my number and told them it would cause a no start situation. hopefully they don't pull a boner

If they flash it, it will start, but it won't run very well with that intake on there.

I dunno what they did but it does seem to shift a bit better. Doesn't seem like they messed the programming up either.
