Default 2007 Mustang GT-5speed GT (p/n lookup)
Can anyone help me out? I'm looking for the part # for the dust cover that goes under the shift boot for the stock shifter. I tore my garage apart looking for it but I can't find my stock one. It's the rubber boot thing that gets rid of all the noise coming up from the driveline.

I called my 3 local ford dealerships and they are all unclear on what part this is and can't seem to find the part # to order a new one.

Anybody with a parts diagram for the shifter?

Not sure that you can get that part separate from the shifter assembly.

You can't get the rubber boot separate from the shifter. I tried.

Well you can send me some of the money for this suggestion

You could try a bicycle inter tube or one from a motorcycle. You may have to use a tie rap at the top.
