Default i want to replace my airbags and reset it for mustang 2005

hi

i bought mustang gt 2005 with blown airbags. i bought driver and passenger airbags and i will install it also i will buy airbag sensor above the pedals

can u tell me what to do to reset the airbag light and the airbags will not blown by any mistake in installation

my car had an accident before but its ok but i need to replace the airbag as it was before.

They're very easy to replace, I did mine also. You may have to replace the crash sensor located on the radiator mount. There is also another sensor located somewhere on the radiator frame. You also need to make sure the sensor to turn on/off the aribag is good to go for the passenger side. The easiest way to do it is to install your bags, take it to Ford and have them run a check on it.They will be able to tell you what needs to be replaced as well as clear any codes. Any other questions just ask because I replaced everything safety wise, even the seatbelts a few months ago due to a crash.

thanks bro
i think u have older mustang because mustang 2005 has one sensor only upper the brake pedal also i don't want to go to ford because they will charge me a lot

A Ford dealer will charge you every time they plug in a scanner! Take it to a local Auto Zone, they will scan it for free.

Once you have replaced all of the damaged and corrupted parts, the SRS light should reset itself. If it does't then the new control module will need to be programed. Unfortunatly you will have to go to a dealer for that.

i took it to ford dealer and they told me that my need 12 sensors and computer and cost of 2600$ this only for spare parts not for labor charge and airbags
