I need some assistance on this one!

Several months ago I installed the boom tubes axle back exhaust. About a month ago I started getting this pinging noise from underneath the car.

The sound amost reminds me of the sound the engine makes when pinging, but this only happens when the road is rough and at a certain resonance.

I took it to the dealer and they stated it was the boom tubes and there was nothing they could do. I have had the car on a lift and exhaust is tight.

Any ideas?

The exhaust may be tight but is it hitting any of the shiels under there? If any part is really close then it may be that when it gets hot and with the rubber mounts it may be moving just enought to hit.
