Went driving with another 'Stanger yesderday, and all was good. We stopped and took a break, then got ready to go again. My fob wouldn't open the door. I unlock it and get inside and it started, but, that was all. No windows, no signals,brake lights , and only two guages. Computer kept flashing "E-brake on, low oil pressure, gas cap,...etc.
It ran normally & I got it home and disconnected both terminals. It was sitting overnight & now I will attempt to work on it. Last year my crappy GMS tuner took a poop during "return to stock" & I had to have it re-flashed by my local dealer. One day for giggles, I plugged it in and it functioned normally. Dummy, I tuned for 93 again and left it alone. No problems for 4 months. Last time, I had all functions normal & no gauges or systems codes.
Any one with info will have a child named after them.
DTE FLI data error & noauto_detect come up. Tuner will not show return to stock option. vent fan and lighter work; that's it. Tuner will not clear the No auto -detect code (11) nor will it read strategy. Help.
Well that tuner is what you already know it is. I would get a SCT and a good tune. as for the computer, Did the SJB get wet by chance? If so that's your problem. Did you try your other key fob and see what happened?

The car was dry. The other fob doesn't work either. No din ding ding..when the keys are in the ignition & the door is opened, either. No locks ,windows, hazards, radio, a/c (though the fan works) & the traction contol light, check engine, "alarm" are on.
Looks like I'll be visiting the dealer again & the GMS POS is history. SCT is the way I will go. I fear that I will have to get another CAI as Doug refuses to tune for Mr. Granatelli's fine products. What is the SJB ?
This is NOT the news that I was wanting to hear. I have not yet heard from the dealer. The GMS tuner allows you to... is supposed to allow you to retune over any Ford "updates and/or reflash. It did for months. I hope that it's only a $75 reflash and not a brain transplant. The car, not me. I'm beyond hope.
The dealer called about 2 hours ago. Computer reflashed, & some bad module ordered. Will be normal on Wednesday. Will Bama sell me an SCT for my GMS intake ,which is about 5-6 mm off of the C&L street intake, & give me a good 3 tunes? I told my service rep that I will name a child after him for helping me out again.
Final story on my mess. Dealer reflashed computer. I had to replace the CAI with the stock airbox. It kept throwing leadn codes at the dealer. I informed him to switch the stock MAF with the GMS piece & harness. The car then went failsafe, hence the stock box now. I understand there are 3 cycles that must take place for the computer to relearn.
Will I be able to get a tune from Bama with a new CAI & get it to work with the new updated poop in the computer ?
Oh, the GMS tuner smashing party is on for Saturday. "Me First".

You can get yourself an SCT tuner and a new intake. A tuner might even be able to build you a tune for your current CAI. You'd just need to provide them the inside diameter of the MAF housing in mm.
