Default Oil Pressure sender question

Just a quick easy question..
Is the oil pressure sender on the 4.6 located on the bottom of
block next to the oil filter? Is it 1/8 -27 pipe thread or metric?
I am installing aftermarket gauges and need to "tee" the oem
sensor so computer doesnt get confused. Thanks...

If I'm remembering correctly the threads in the engine were 1/4 NPT. I think I bought a tee with all 1/4 threads and a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer to install the AutoMeter sender. The attachment below is not my car but is a pic of an S197 that I saved from fnsweet.com. Hope this helps.
