More than likely there isn't a difinitive answear for this.
When you consider that there are 24 rollers in every 3 valve engine built since its inception in 04 (something like 100000 engines?) Thats only like 2 million or so. There is bound to be a failure or two. Yours is the first I have heard about. I know this doesn't make you feel any better but at least Ford is picking up the bill
