t-lok (traction lock) it makes you spin both tires when burning out not just the right one then get gears, 3.73 or 4.10 are popular. but you have a gt so it should come with t-lok, when you burn out do you have 2 tire marks or just one on the right?

Just one side and thats just a small chirp the wheel doent even make a complete revolution with trac lock off. Its more like 1/32 revolution that chirps. Now this is WOT from a dead stop and not doing a break pedal burn. However on wet pavement I can burn both sides.

You already have a limited slip differential in your car. All GTs come std that way.

No it isn't. You're thinking of traction control. T-lok is the limited slip differential. It's not controlled by the computer at all.

I think the original poster was referring to the traction control and calling it the T-loc.....or not. I'm confused too.

So for clarification:

Traction Control is a system that is controlled by the cars computer that nearly eliminates wheelspin by modulating the rear brakes via the ABS controls and manipulating the engines ignition system.

T-loc or more specifically Traction Lock is a type of differential that uses a system of gears to distribute power to both drive wheels equally for more traction.

LSD, or more specifically Limited Slip Differential is a type of differential that uses a system of clutches to distribute power to both drive wheels for more traction.

All GT’s come with a LSD. LSD’s are what most manufacturers use to try and distribute power to both drive wheels. LSD’s are “softer” and more “transparent” than Traction Lock type differentials.

I have been reading posts by ppl that get new rear gears and a lot of them say something like this "Just installed 4.10 with t-loc" I wanted to know what they were referring to.

That's for the V6 guys since the 7.5 rear doesn't come standard with a limited slip differential.
