Default Are these dealers including tunes??

Im still deciding between Bamachips, VMP, and Tillman to buy the C&L Racer and SCT X3 combo. Im doing the install myself, along with CMDP at the same time.

They all show the 3 options for tunes when you order from the site. Do they include these 3 tunes for free or is each one an additional amount.

Where can you find your gear ratio (stock auto 07 GT) and PCM code

Who have you guys gotten packages from? How are they

I got mine from Brenspeed, same setup (racer with x3). I gave them a list of my mods when I bought the kit and they sent 3 tunes already loaded into the X3 for my fuel (91, 87, 85.5). I believe Tillmand and Bamachips are the same, Don't know about VMP.

You can go to this link and substitute your vin in the URL and it will give you your window sticker with all options, including gear ratio:
http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...HT85H865217442

**edit** I guess that sticker doesn't have the ratio on it.. I could have sworn it did. I understand you can find the ratio in the plate in the door jamb, and also on a tag on the rear end housing itself.

I've dealt with all 3 that you have mentioned and the only one I haven't had any issues with is VMP. Also know of other locals that use VMP with no issues.

I was about to place my order with Bama, but he has it posted on the site that he DOES NOT recommend CMVC delete plates if all you have is an intake and a tune.

Ive never heard this until now

Perhaps because he could make more money off of you with another tune later on when you install the delete plates I don't see any reason why taking them out would hurt. In fact, I know I've seen at least one occurance where one of the CMCV's broke off and destroyed his motor.

They Probably say that because the cmcv help with low rpm tourque. Most people want to keep their tourque untill they have more power and tourque to make up for it.

Door sticker on driver's door gives gear ratio. CD is 3.55 and CG is 3.31.

I got Bamachips 87, 91 perf and 91 torque and like the torque tune.

Bama updates tunes for free, even if you don't buy the new mods from them. I don't know for sure but they might not do that for power adders, but they are updating my tunes for my headers for free.

Look under the rear of your car at the gearbox. There should be a sticker on it with gears listed.

Computer code is a sticker located under the hood on a black box just slightly behind the passenger head light.

Maybe sticky this info so everyone knows? I know brenspeed told me where to find it, and i believe has a page set up for it.

Also they include 3 tunes free with CAI but they are generally the same tune with 3 different octane levels. (87, 91 and 93)
