Question Point of no Return?

I have an 06 GT manual that I added 4.10's, JBA Cat4Ward Headers, Steeda CAI and Comp Cams XFI Stage 2 NSR Cams, in addition to non performance goodies. I've always had it in mind to FI it eventually, but now with the gears and non-FI ground cams I'm wondering if I have gone too far. I don't want to remove anything other than possibly the CAI, so what supercharger should I consider given my list of mods? I have not had it dyno tuned yet (Brenspeed 93 octane tune installed), but I think that I'm somewhere between 375 and 400 HP at the crank. What's your opinions on a supercharger? I've always had my eye on the Saleen, but I want the car to be "driveable". For the record, it's a weekend only car. In October it will be 4 years old, but it only has 16k miles on it.

I would do it you dont have many N/A mods that stop you the people that get the Uderdrive pullies and charge motion delete plates haveto worry a little bit more.

And usually when you talk about exhaust it's either long tubes or shorties because cat forward is headers, and that doesn't matter with S/C just with turbo although LT if your going S/C are preferred.

As for your cams you should be fine they will work depending on your boost level but it doen't sound like you have an upgraded bottom end so high boost levels is out of the question. Non boost cams work they just dont gain as much HP as Boost cams you will lose HP from what the normal gain would be.

Like shifter said you don't have very many things that would need to be replaced. I talked to someone that said the Stage 2 cams you have will supposedly work with a supercharger but don't quote me on that

Those cams are not the best for forced induction. Better off with the OEM cams.

Thanks Shifter and Trent.....I'm more concerned with the 4.10's. Will they be too much for a PD blower; or should I go centri?

You're going to have traction issues with any pos displacement blower.

4.10s with the centri or turbo are tolerable.

Whatever you put on, be prepared to spend more in fuel. I went to the airport on Monday, then down to the beach, back to the airport, then home, burned 1/2 a tank, we're talking about 70 miles more or less. I went with the magnacharger, got a great deal on it, a good reliable roots system. I like the Chrome under the hood, cosmetics are great !

So Stl, should punt the whole FI idea since I have the Comp Cams and 4.10's?

It's not like it won't run with them. In fact it'll run fine. Just not the best grind for FI.

Those cams are so mild it doesn’t matter. They hardly have any overlap at all. You will have no issues with running a blower with them.

A positive displacement blower will be a bit much with the 4:10’s unless you run with some sticky 28” tall tires. If you will not be running tires like that go with the Vortech, it will be a great setup.

Guessing what your HP is at a point that is irrelevant. That’s so cute.
