im about to buy the JLT cold air intake, for my 05 GT
Im only buying the intake... not the tuner right now
BUT it says computer tune required...?
what if i dont buy the tuner right away?
help please?

If you dont buy the tuner you cant use the intake simple as that. If you want to be able to use an intake with out a tune you will need to look at different intakes other than the jlt. If you put that intake on without a tune you will throw a check engine light and most likley loss in performance also.

don't take the easy way out, when you buy something, get everything thats REQUIRED!!

if you dont get a tuner with the JLT intake, your car will run horrible!

I have a JLT (with SCT Tuner) and love it, but if it is a money issue, get a tuner before you get the CAI. Even a canned tune that removes the fly-by-wire throttle lag will make you think you are driving a different car! Just this alone is worth the price of a tuner.

If you want the intake now, get a C&L (with no tune insert), K&N, or Airraid.
