If it sounds like a solid thump under your seat, check the clearance between the pipes and that brace that goes from side to side. If I bottom out, I have to put it on a lift and adjust the pipes for clearance again. Last time, my friend put a dimple in the pipes with a punch so they would resist rotating. Hasn't done it since.

Hope this helps.

+1... Sometimes the overaxle pipes get a little too close to the panhard brace, spare tire well, or the axle housing. With the suspension loaded, check to make sure you have at least 1/2" clearance.

Keep in mind when hot the exhaust "grows" almost 1/4". I had a thunking issue that I couldn't find to save my life. Untill I went out, heated the exhaust up real good, pulled it in the shop and jacked it up and put it on jackstands while still running.

I found where it was hitting after about 10 seconds of looking. Used a pry bar to bend the hanger a bit and went inside to bed. Came out the next morninto look at it and it had at leat three times the clearance I had bent into it while hot.

I had to dremel off a 1" chunk of the rear hanger on mine. It kept growing and hitting the back of the car.
