Default TH400 Shopping List?

Hey Guys,

Okay, got the twin 57's installed and am finishing up the tune on the stock motor and auto. I really did it to get the turbo fitment right and allow for an easier (sure) install of the iron block, built motor. I just acquired a new TH400 with a brake for the car and need to see if somebody could help me out with the conversion shopping list and where to get it. I have been looking around and there are differing opinions as to the list. I want stuff that works, the first time. Shifter, bell housing, flex plate, rear mount, etc. I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks ahead of time!

Brian

I would contact livernoise motorsports. They do alot of different things with our cars to include run a S197 drag car.

This going to be a DD or track only car? If DD, you are going to end up being disappointed in that TH400. Just curious, why that over a 4R?

Performance mods: Lets just say it's not stock.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

This IntelliTXT stuff sucks.

Not a daily driver by any means. Occasionally to the cruise night and the strip on radials. I am really pulling the trigger with the new motor and am reaching for a grand at the wheel and would like to break an 8.90 with the car. To do this I am going to need a trans brake to get the car to leave and it's too heavy for a glide.
