I was curious as to which intakes will work the the Saleen Supercharger?
I plan on getting one within the next 6 months and want to start preparing for it, possibly buying a new intake to fit it also.
I have heard the the C&L street doesnt fit...
I would imagine your best bet would be a custom pipe. Every high horse blower application I have seen uses some sort of custom intake to get cool ait out of the inside of the fender, etc. A custom one is not hard. You can buy pre-bet tubig in aluminum, cut it to run the way you want it to and then find a local tig welder to do it up. fter that you can have it polished, chromed, powerdercoated, painted, etc. A custom intake sounds a lot harder than it is and the advantages are many.
Good luck

Take a look at the shaker intake. It offers 25hp for around $1200 and offers nostalgia benefits as well. Look at the Brenspeed site for pictures. I went through two other pipe based intakes before settling on a shaker.

+1 the shaker is a nice addition, before that I was using the STEEDA CAI with my Saleen supercharger, also Saleen has an Ultimate air intake that works pretty well.

Steeda, JDM and FRPP have CAIs that use a 90mm MAF that all can use the stock or Saleen flexible inlet tubes.
I have seen people use the C&L tube but Im not sure what else was needed to get it to fit.
Sqidd is right about a custom pipe that will get cool air. The above CAI's are still in the engine compartment and are still using hot engine compartment air.
I plan on getting the Saleen Superchaker like the above poster said. This is gonna get you cool air from above the hood and looks and sounds pretty awesome too. Its a bit expensive but Saleen claims it adds a tiny bit of boost in the higher RPM ranges at speed. I just love the looks and sound and how its shakes when you rev the engine.

I have seen some people with the C&L Racer intake with a saleen.
I like the Shaker design but I think its a little too pricey. Plus I want to have people think my car is N/A and that's hard to do when your supercharger is sticking out of your hood
you can always just cut out the bottom of your stock air box. Thats what Saleen does for there 475 upgrade kit, I believe

I was hoping people would think its just a CDC shaker scoop! lol
I wish Anderson Motorsports would make a powerpipe for it with one of those DBX MAFs in it for the Saleen. Im hoping to get the Supershaker when I get income taxes back but we will see if I have enough cash.

I am using the C&L racer intake tube with a FRP maf and filter. Iwas told that it would not fit with out lowering the motor but it fits fine. I had to move the cable coming off the altenator from the top to the side and this gave me enough clearance to get the hood shut with no issues. I did cut the FRP box down about 1/2 on the top edge to make it work. Eventually I would like to lower the motor but I am concerned about clearance issue since my car is lowered and I am going to be adding LT's this winter.

You could always run the Saleen Extreme intake. It does cost a little more but will support up to 900 hp and looks somewhat stock while menacing at the same time. It is the same intake used on the Saleen extremes and Sterling cars. We use it on our 06 Saleen and our 2010 435 S. It is an additional $300 over the Steeda. Being a Saleen product you know the quality is OEM.
Dont forget the Supershaker is the ultimate cold air intake for the Series 6. Does anyone know how much power the MAF on the Supershaker is good to?
