Default lug nut locking tool

I've lost the lug nut locking tool for my locking lug nuts. I have a 2006 GT. From what I see on Ebay, the locking nuts seem to be the same for all models/years (from 1990).

Would it be safe to assume that I could purchase this used set with the tool that I need and it will work on my locking nuts:

FORD MUSTANG RANGER F150 PROBE WHEEL LOCK NUTS OEM SET:eBay Motors (item 200372544424 end time Oct-10-09 09:59:29 PDT)

I'm hoping these locking kits aren't unique (even though that would make more sense) so that I don't have to contact my dealer to re-issue me the locking tool.

they are not all the same, there are about 25 different wheel lock
possibilities, if you bought your car new you should have a card that says Macguard Key Company on it, that has the number for the correct tool that you need to remove your lug nuts, without that the odds of getting the correct kit are 1 in 25, if your not worried that your wheels will get stolen have your local dealer remove the locking lug nuts (they will have a master key set) and just replace them with regular lug nuts.

THANKS! I greatly appreciate the info. Can't wait to call my dealership (sarcasm). I'm going to replace them with regular lug nuts. I could care less is someone steals my stock fanblade rims/tires.

Look inside your glove compartment, there may be a sticker on the inside of the door, showing you the number for the locking lug nut. You then can order another one. I always order a back up spare, just in case.....
