Default High performance coils. Granetelli or Weapon X?

I am considering the purchase of high performance coils for my Roushcharged GT. Has anyone had any experience with either Granetelli or Weapon X coils and did they make any difference in performance?

Spend your money elsewhere. Coils will not add any HP. There are numerous cars out there and members in here that are making +600 RWHP on stock coils

I have WeaponX but that's because I had a few bad coils in mine so when I replaced them I just went ahead and got the performance ones.

Did it help? Well it helped me because I was having some detonation issues but new stock coils probably would have fixed it as well.

Dealer wouldn't replace the stock ones since it didn't detonate with stock tune even though you could test the coils and see erratic voltage... some service centers suck.

I had great service from the WeaponX company. The mid year 2008's have a new head (new plugs, etc) that needed a different depth on the coils and they took care of it asap for me.

The only thing aftermarket coils will do for you, is eventually cause you a headache. Like stated above spend the money else where, their are no power gains with them.

I've been running a set of WeaponX coils for about 6 months now. No complaints.

If you do go aftermarket go with Weapon X or MSD not Granetelli people have problems with all their products its it a sign some say so.

Het STLWAGON did you see any gains. I saw a video a while back of a Ford GT with and with out aftermarket coil overs and the gains were 15RWHP over stock COPS the car had about 600 to the wheels.

Not really but they do provide a nice positive connection to the plug. I had tried Accel coils (very poor quality) and also gone through two set of OEM.
