2007 Mustang GT500 Supercharger On A 2008 Mustang GT!
Hey everyone. Does anyone know if there is a way to fit a supercharger from a 2007 GT500 onto a 2008 GT. Ive been looking around and cant seem to find a way. I assume you would need an intake manifold to work as an "adapter" as well. Any help would be great!
Like above me said, u should go with a S/C made for your GT already. The Whipple H.O. is nice and so is the Vortech V3 and i really like the Saleen Stage 3.
Let us know what you decide on.

The two reasons why I am trying to do this are...
1. The supercharger on the GT500 and the one made by Eaton for the GT are almost exactly the same. The only problem is the maniflod difference.... I think...
2. You can get these superchargers (from people who have done the Super Snake upgade) for less than $500! Ive seen one sell for $250!!!
You are still going to need the front mount heat exchanger. The lower intercooler itself. All the water lines, the water pump, the reserviors. fuel injectors, the fuel pumps........
Just buy a freakin Whipple or ATI already. Doing it the other way is going to nickle and dime you to death! Trust me, we've done a swap like this before for a customer. Fabricated the manifold and everything. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. The Whipple HO kit made more power and took about 30 hours LESS time to install with NO FAB WORK. The minute you get an aluminum welder like me involved, the costs go WAY UP.
and some type of adapter plates for the setup since the 5.4 is wider than the 4.6.
Nope, just a manifold

Will that be cheap..not at all.
Within 6 months people will be making 450 at the tires for $3,000-$4,500 depending on what components they decide to use by using my intake (which is already a working prototype) and a take off GT500 blower.
The intake will also work with almost any other screw blower and be a perfect way to add intercooling to a Centri system.

Let do some math shall we. As cool as it would be to be able to bolt a s/c from a GT500 onto our cars, if your willing to spend between $3,000-$4,500 + a $500, this means that if you spend a few hundred more dollars you could have the correct s/c for you car.....new.
Just for the mental image, I would like to see a 6-71 on the 4.6 stuck through the hood of one of these cars. Keep the fuel injection system and accessories, just put the blower through the hood.
Okay, now that the mental image is giving some of you ideas, time for the morning coffee.

Kar Kraft had that set up for street rods before they closed their doors.
