Just installed steeda cold air intake for 2008 Mustang GT

ok guys i just finished installing the steeda cold air intake on my car and the installation went pretty good it took me about an hour but it was worth it. the sound that thing makes when you put your foot down is worth every penny spent, know i just had one quick question did the filter needed to be oiled and cleaned before i put it on, i know it a little late but heck it bearly has about 4 miles on it.

Congrats... Filter should have come pre-oiled and ready to go.

Can you replace the filters that need oil with ones that dont need oil?

AEM Dryflows are a good alternative to oiled filters.

Ok cool. yeah my step dad for a CAI for his F-250 and it uses a oil filter, it just seems like a big waste of time.
