Default 2005 Mustang GT. Couldn't figure out why I was running a little lean

For the last few days I've noticed that I was running a little on the lean side and couldn't figure out why. Today I look down at my boost gauge and it's stuck on 0. Checked the connection under the hood and it was fine. Then I pulled the gauge out of the vent pod and the gauge and about a foot of vacuum line came out. Seems it just snapped off for some reason. At least now I know why I was running lean.

Thanks... I knew something was up when I saw the gauge. It'll be a 10 min fix if I have any extra line.

Actually I won't take the blame on this one. The line just snapped in half. It wasn't pinched. I have no idea what happened.

Well I thought I had more of the tubing at home but apparently not. Also need a new brass compression fitting so I've contacted Autometer. I've just capped the vacuum connection for now.

Ahhh, see you won't find any of that brass or plastic stuff on my car. All -AN, no matter what it's for.

Ever since I got my pant leg sprayed with oil 20 yrs ago by my hot rod Pinto's oil pressure line, I don't mess with that stuff anymore. Yes, it was a hot rod Pinto. 2bbl, cam, header, gear and beat up on Monte SS's back in the day LOL.

I suppose I should upgrade but I just don't feel like it now, especially since I just dropped another $300 on new fuel rails.

If I had some -2 AN left laying around I'd just send it to you. All out though. Sorry.
