I was ready to order this kit when I got laid off of work, so it's on hold. I've read the instructions and there are only two things that might concern you for installing it yourself.
You will have to disconnect the fuel rail: this is simple using a fuel line disconnect tool that you can buy at places like Autozone. It's just a piece of plastic, no big deal.
Second, you will have to "depinn" a couple of wires from the factory harness and put them into the new harness. Again, nothing terrible, just use a pick to depress a tab and remove the wire.
The rest is just unbolting old parts and bolting on new parts.
If you want to purchase the blower warranty though, it would have to be installed buy an Edelbrock approved installer. I was going to pass on that and install myself. I don't know what shops charge for an install, but I would imagine it would be $800 or more.
I had to "depinn" a connector or two when I did my Techco. It sounds easy but is a real PIA. I thought that was the hardest part of the install. LOL... Get a set of jewelers screwdrivers if your going to do it. Makes it eaisier. GA

We currently have the Edelbrock E-force in stock and are currently developing Brenspeed staged packages similar to our Saleen packages. Pricing on the staged packages are not currently available but are due to be released soon. Our test kit is making 450 hp on the 10 psi kit. Install is fairly easy and similar to the Saleen.

With a proper $30 pin release tool that does more than just Ford stuff, it's a piece of cake. MUCH MUCH easier than jewler screw drivers

Interesting, where can you buy one of these depinning tools at?
Multiple places. Even Sears carries the Lisle $10.99 one, it's an hexagon shape with different release tools on it.
My favorite is the one with billet handles in a nice plastic case. Snap-On is like $130, same one, made in the same place (China) as an off brand is about $50.00. Here's the one I am talking about, but I couldn't find it anywhere online. I need to find my receipt and see where I got it from.
