Well, I called and spoke with Edelbrock about those numbers and they said that it is right on. They said expect 20-25% loss with an automatic and the fact that I am using a Mustang Dyno kind of smashs those numbers too. Oh, my baseline dyno for my Mustang before the Edelbrock was 232 RWHP and 242 FT/LBS. So I gained around 122 RWHP & 81 FT/LBS on 6.5psi of Boost. I am using Edelbrock's canned tune because John at Horsepower Ranch said there was tuning involved. I might go to a local Dynojet to see what those numbers are.

Wow those stock numbers are super-low, for a mustang dyno or not. You might have a lemon.

That sucks it baselined so low. Maybe get a custom dynotune in the future and throw on a smaller pulley.
Good Luck!

Wow those numbers are damn low for a baseline and even for a blown GT with 6.5lbs! That stinks bro, sorry to hear.

You apparently got one of the low HP stock motors so those FI numbers aren't too bad afterall.

I've seen them dyno as low as 232 on an automatic.

I think a good custom tuner could really help you.

a custom tune is a must and I really wouldnt count on the Edelbrock until the car has been tuned . My Whipple gained about 40hp and 45 torgue from the tune and the car drove totally different
