Default Help! Tuner/Gear Ratio Question!

I had a shop install the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger and they didn't tune in the proper gear ratio. When I did the dyno run, the tuner was set for 3.29, but I have 3.31 in my car. I just fixed it and now the car feels like 400 hp. How much more gain in hp and torque would I get with the change? Thanks!!

None at all... It just fixes the speedometer calibration.

Like stlwagon said, none at all. The steeper the gear, the more power you could actually lose. The next time your at the dyno, and someone has done a gear swap then puts it back on the dyno check the numbers. Your not going to lose a lot, but you will lose some, Mike. SCT Tuner.

Going from 3.55 to 4.10 will actually cost you about 5% on HP numbers.
