Where you taking it? Be glad you have that warranty because it might mess up those white heels.
I am very glad I got the warranty that is going to be costly. I'll take her to the only Ford dealership we have around here. They are about 7 miles away now (not bad) but I am concerned about driving her on the highway.

That sucks, but thank God it happened at home and not while driving down to Phoenix

One of the tips I learned from a Ford mechanic is they add a special type of fluid to your antifreeze or oil (depending on your issue) and you take your car back and run it a day or two. You then bring it back to the mechanic and they look over your car with a ultraviolet light. Your leak will glow under that light. It helps them pinpoint the source rather than assume what's wrong and replace the wrong thing.
My car has been at the shop all morning. They called while I was at lunch and said they cannot find anything wrong with it??????????? I reiterated that I smelled antifreeze and it was running warm, none of which was normal. I also told them I needed to travel and was not comfortable driving it as is. Would be real nice to blow her up on the freeway stranded between here and Phoenix . So they are going to (ahem, yeah right) look further into it. UGH. I guess all I can do is get it in writing I reported the issue, they found nothing and when it blows they can pay bigger to fix her

I had a similiar issue and I replace the cap on the overflow and it does not leak anymore. Do you see any dried white or crusty substance around the cap?

No obvious evidence of a leak. They are keeping her tonight, they had her running and under pressure today and found no evidence of a leak anywhere. UGH. They are going to try again tomorrow. The tech said it could have a minor leak that evaporates and may get worse over time. But basically what I see if they don't find out where it is I take a chance on screwing her up on the highway.

Did they check to see if it were leaking at the overflow bottle?
They claim they checked everywhere. They said it is "normal" for the temp gauge to go to 12 o'clock. So I guess I wait and see from here lol.
Get this: I go to pick her up and they guy says $37.11. I say for what? He says the oil change. I said I did not ask for an oil change. He looks at me like WTHeck. I decided that I would just pay for it I would need one before too long anyway, when the other guy there says " Well I did not charge you the $50.00 to check your car" I bit my tongue hard. That dealership has NEVER had such a charge, he was blowing smoke so far. I figured with the day I was trying not to have I should just walk away . Too bad I don't have much choice in dealerships, they are the one and only for 50 plus miles.
