Default A couple questions on installing canned tune on 2006 Mustang GT

Ok, I will be soon installing the C&L "street" air intake, and the Brenspeed 93 oct. tune (sct x3). I was on SCT's website, and I still have a couple questions that I was hoping someone here could answer.

1. Do I need to save the stock tune to the X3, or is it automatically done. I was thinking it was, but now I am not sure.

2. Do fuses for fuel pump, fan, etc. have to be removed? Or is it really necessary if you are not worried about a low battery condition? Thanks for any help.

1. Stock tune is done first by your SCT X3 automatically
2. Nope just install the tune you want and your ready to go, Brenspeed has a video on their website of the tune install you might check that out , thats what I did

Have fun with your new car

1.) It will save it automatically.

2.) Just make sure your battery is good as sometimes things turn on fans etc causing the voltage to drop you should be good to go if everything is good.

Only risk is if you lose power during the flash, your tune will be jacked up.
