Default 2008 Mustang GT Clicking Noise from Clutch

I've been noticing that I hear a "click" noise every time I depress the pedal. It is not loud but was wondering if it was normal.

I have a Ram that requires more effort and makes a ton of noise from the moment I depress the pedal. Does yours effect performance? If not who cares.

My clutch makes all kinds of sounds. I wish I only had a click.

Mine does the exact same thing. I assumed it was some sort of safety switch clicking when the pedal is depressed and didn't think too much of it.

Somehow, now that you pointed it out, it's more anoying

IF its just a single click everytime you push it down and not constant then that is Normal. It is the switch that makes sure the clutch is fully depressed before you can start the car.
