Default 2005 Mustang GT, O2 sensor major goof

Just as a baseline I have a 05 mustang GT auto with pypes off-road X-pipe with high flow cats. Now that you know what exhaust set up I have here's my goof. When I original installed the exhaust I clamped one of the cats with the o2 sensor pointing towards the ground and got lazy and said I would fix it later. Well the speed bump beat me to the punch and took out the O2 sensor for me. At first I didn’t think this was a big deal I just bought a new O2 sensor and cleared the trouble codes, but now I believe I blew one of those gray micro relay fuses. The trouble codes are as follows;

P0010 "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit
P0020 "A" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit
P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit
P0155 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit
P0443 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit
P0446 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit
P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0755 Shift Solenoid "B"
P0760 Shift Solenoid "C"
P0962 Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Control Circuit Low
P0966 Pressure Control Solenoid "B" Control Circuit Low
P0970 Pressure Control Solenoid "C" Control Circuit Low
P0161 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit
P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit

Any clue on which fuse I should replace because with the big gray ones there’s no visual way to tell there blown. I’d rather just buy one and swap it out before I pay a dealer 100 bucks to do the exact same them.

The grey ones are relays not fuses. Fuses protect the relays. most likely you blew F1.47 and it is a 15A fuse. The underside of the fuse box cover has the location of it as does your owners manual. Replace the fuse and if it blows again then you probably damaged the wire harness and you better take it to the dealer for that one.

I would suspect wiring may have been damaged.

yeah i replaced the O2 sensor because 3 of the 4 wires to the sensor were crushed. I dropped it off at the dealer and they told me they have to go circuit by circuit to figure out whats wrong. At least the new 02 sensor i installed works. My 1967 mustang is far easier to troubleshoot then these modern beasts.

the O2 sensor hit at the base on the sensor wear the wires enter. It cut threw one of the white wires, and exposed the copper on the gray wire. I'll try to upload a photo once i figure out how to reduce the size

Yeah who ever decided it was a good idea to put a speed bump at the base of a hill should be shot. I came to a complete stop and still managed to do that and my car is at the stock ride height. I’ve gone over numerous speed bumps and had no problems but this one didn’t allow your car to level out from descending the hill so any low car is double screwed. I'll post the damaged when i get a call back from the dealer.

not sure if i believe the dealers fix but when i installed the 02 sensor extension i ran out of zip ties and used metal wire on one of the wires to keep it from hanging down. I made sure to wrap it lose but apparently that was the problem. The dealer did not have to replace any wires and they did not find any cut wires. So anyone out there installing 02 sensor extensions DON'T use metal wire to tie them off. Odd that the car went 10 thousands miles with no issues prior. I think they just made it up, but whatever its fixed.

Not sure I understand how that affected it.

this was there correction statement on the invoice;

"suspected short in a sensor--disconnected sensors one at a time--found rear cat monitor sensor had extensions plugged into it--tied up with metal wire which was shorting out circuit---replaced with plastic ties---codes did not return"

oh and of course they added this comment

"cat efficiency may be compromised---aftermarket exhaust"

not sure they really needed to add that
