Trunk Squeak!! 2006 Mustang GT

Hello all, I have tried to no avail in locating / isolating this dumb squeak that comes from my rear trunk area. I can hear it all the way in the front cabin mostly when I am driving on the highway. Has anyone had this similiar annoying noise, if so what was it in your car and how did you remedy it?? Your help is much appreciated, and I look forward to your replies. Thanks!!

It's probably something in the suspension.

Yeah; it was my ex. Took awhile but the squeak is gone. Now if I could only get rid of that smell.

I have a very similar squeak. I don't think its a suspension noise. I have bounced on the rear bumper and cannot hear anything. But I can hear it in the car when driving.

It showed up after getting my windows tinted, so i think it is from the interior trip panel re-install. One of these days I am taking my "lego" interior apart and re-installing.

When I installed my subwoofer in the trunk I was trying to stop all the squeaks and tapping from the shaking and I got alot from the crap under that plastic cover that covers the locking latch.

Probably not your issue but its worth taking a look at.
