You both realize, it`s a miniscule difference, and unless someone is looking for every little advantage to go that bit faster, does it really matter? We`re not pros,We`re just looking to have a good time.
I thank you so much for your post!!! All I have been trying to say the whole time is that I am looking for every advantage possible to go a bit faster. If one thousanth of one horsepower is worth $200.00 to me, that is my business. It is Sqidd's opinion only as to whether it is worth it or not. By the way, isn't money spelled m-o-n-e-y. Like I said in the beginning, I pay attention to detail. Sometimes, that matters.
I bought STL's motoblue's from him, still on the fence about installing them. Looking at other forums, it's almost 50/50 on wether they do any good. I see anywhere from 5-10HP gain posted.

I would install them. They can only help performance. Since you already have them in hand, you have nothing to lose. If you don't see or feel a gain, you can always take them back off.

and sell them to me! as i want them for a different reason...
there is a shop with a mustang dyno- they charge $55 for a baseline run. i would do it, but i bet 5 hp could be made or lost just by conditions (temp, humidity, etc....)
True. Conditions could change in the amount of time it would take to change pulleys. The test would have to be done in a controled environment to be accurate. I guess we may never know the outcome.

ok. i will get a set next week and head for the dyno for the before and after....
but i wanrt to be on the record as saying- Sqidd usually is pretty squared away...
I'll be a man about it, if I'm proved wrong, I will admit it. But the test has to be conducted with the same atmospheric conditions for each run with and without the pulleys and with no change to the tune. All being equal, I still say there will be an increase in available horsepower with the underdrive pulleys. The engine needs to be in a controled space hooked to a dyno to do the test. I expect a 3-5 hp gain with the underdrive pulleys but any gain proves the point.

the shop by my house is indoor, and to be safe we should wait until mid-november as the temp swings this time of year can be 40 degrees in a couple of hours. i will order the parts and keep posted...
