Default HELP! just installed SctX3 tuner and steeda cai

Alright guys i just installed a Steeda CAI and the SCT X3 tuner from American muscle.com on my 2005 Mustang GT.So with the SCTx3 i get 3 free custom tunes so i got the 91 octane racing tune and saved the other two for when i do some more mods, so I install the CAI and then plug in the X3 and select the 91 oct tune and install it. So im driving and i feel the increase in power, throttle response and such , and the intake makes a badA$$ sound in high end shifts, well anyways everything is good im enjoying my Latest mod, but then i realize at a stop light, my car seems really quite, so i look at my RPM and its at around 5-600 rpm, which to me seems really low, now im wondering does the sctx3 retune my idle rpm to that low? is it supposed to be like this, i have a slp axle-back and before i installed the tune at idle it would sound beefy and monstrous, but after the tune it sounds really quite. Do you guys know what a stock 2005 Mustang gt rpm idles at? and is it supposed to be like thsi with that particular tune? should i be worried about this!? thanks guys in advance for your input You guys know how to solve anything!

I think generally most idle around 750. You can change it in the tune I think. not sure how though.

I would have it idle a little higher...not harm, just if you have a manual I would think it would be easier not stalling if you idled a little higher since when you let off the clutch the rpms drop until you start hitting the gas. 500 is pretty low. But in the end, it's not doing any harm that I know of.

PS Mine idled @ 750 before and after my SC.

+1 plug it in and adjust the options on the tune. push on the down button till you see idle in drive and neutral. Change them to 750 or whatever you want it at. Then cancel, then upload the tune to your car. I had mine set that low in my 05GT after the cams, it would slightly lope every few seconds.

Low idle is good. I go as low as it will go and never stall out.

If you have a stick you only need to adjust idle neutral.
