Default Drivers window problems in my 2006 Mustang GT

I noticed today that my drivers side window dosent move down slightly when I open the door or close all the way when I close the door, and the auto down on the drivers door wont work, window up or down works fine, first are the two problems related ,and what is the cause of the problem, is it the drivers door control module or something else, I only have $100 deductible so I need to know before I go to the dealer

Thanks

Check the owners manual on how to reset the windows (usually after battery disconnect) I think you take the window down all the way with the button and continue to hold after it stops for a sec or so the full up and hold again.

Did the car recently lose power or was the battery disconnected?

I had the same thing happen to me, without any indication of power loss. It just started doing it randomly one day. Resetting the window fixed it, and it has been fine since.

The reset procedure should save you... it's a pretty common problem/ issue on these cars.

Let us know how you make out!

Roll window down...hold button down for 2-3 seconds....roll windo up...hold button down for 2-3 seconds. Should work after that.
