Default Help! Sequential Taillight Issue: Your not going to believe this

First of all I'd like to start off by saying that I have to be the first person that owns a Mustang to have this issue.

I bought a Sequential Taillight Kit from American Muscle (plug-n-play). So I got the drivers side switch over and is working perfect! But for some reason I can't figure out what I did different or wrong on the passenger side (Right).

The problem is that when I turn on my four way flashers I can see the front signal light blink about 3 times then start blinking faster like a bulb is burnt out. Then when I get to the back the taillight blinkers don't work at all.

If I run around quick enough number 1 and 2 light up but not 3.

When I lock my doors number 2 lights up then number 3 tries to

With my driving lights on all the bulbs light up!

What I've done to try and correct this problem is. Switching around the bulbs, checking the wires right up to were they pass threw into the interior. Unplugging and re-plugging the tailights in. Disconnecting my battery ground about 3 times for different periods of time, and even once cycling the key in the ignition.

I'm thinking that it might be some sort of code. Or a bulb because the right side was working before I switch one bulb... I think to be honest I can't remember or maybe I was just hoping it did.

Yes I WAS a Autobody tech. But due to economic reason I'm doing something else and don't have access to my tool box or a scan tool.

If anyone is in the Calgary (Alberta, Canada) area with a scanner that thinks it might be a code and is willing to clear I'd appreciate the help

Suggestions, anyone? Or has this happened to anyone else and am I just the first one who doesn't know how to fix it?

That is really weird. I would suspect the electronics in that one harness.

I had nothing but problems with the StackRacing sequentials. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ail-again.html

I ended up giving up on them & getting WebElectric sequentials... No problems since!

Default call american muscle

I had almost the same thing happen and called american muscle it turned out to be a bad harness--they sent me a new one and it has worked great for over a year now! They were very nice and sent the new harness out before I sent the defective one back to them---excellent customer service!

Sounds great, I'm going to miss having my subs in the back for a while but this should give me ample time to do sound proofing in the trunk.

Can you get ahold of them via e-mail because I'll be working the next 14 days straight. It's not as bad as it sounds

Webelectric for me as well, 4 years and 2 weeks later, still work fine.

Although last weekend I had the center bulb on the drivers side go out, but thats not web's fault. Sure is a common bulb on these cars to go out I see.

it seems like a harness problem (the new one you just installed). i would try switching some bulbs around on that side just to make sure but you will probably need a new harness...

Default Legal technicalities

Just wondering, as I have Web Electric sequentials installed as well, but haven't had car inspected with them yet, anyone have any problems passing state inspection?
