Default having brake problems

whenever am braking and theres a crack, bump, etc. on the road my brakes kind of shake and it feels like it stops braking as good as it should it almost feels like its not braking i took it to ford and they told me it was ok that it was the abs kicking in but it feels like its not breaking sometimes when it does it it gives me a scare cause it feels like its not braking so ill fully press the brake and it doesnt stop right away and keep in mind its when am braking to a stop so am going about 5 mph so it should brake right away when u fully press the brake shouldnt it my 95 cavalier did

WHAT? If you want members to help, you should be able to articulate and communicate your concerns a little better. You have all of one period in your thread and it just rambles on and on.

Aren't these your posts also? So let me see if I have this straight. You have problems "breaking", can't control your car under throttle and have already totaled one car.

So, to address your concern. Changes encountered on the road surface while applying the brakes may cause a situation resulting in reduced or lost contact between the wheel and road surface thus reducing brake feel and effectiveness. The ABS system may activate if this reduction in traction is severe enough.

That would certainly prevent swapping paint and the ABS coming on!

If you can explain your problem better I will try to help you. It doesn't sound like a ABS is the problem.

Hate to tell you I told you so OP! Looks like I'm not the only one having problems understanding you. If you were not satisfied with or just didn't read my entire original response, feel free to reread it or try and describe your problem again.
