Default Stage 2 SPR comp cams (Blower Grind)

I have come to the conclusion that I want to get The stage 2 SPR comp cams instead of the hot rod or the thumpr do to hp gain although I am trying to figure out how much loss of hp would I expect from putting blower cams on an N/A car I know you can do it but you loose some of the rated HP that the N/A stage 2 SPR cams would offer. I have seen quite a few comp cam dealers list blower grind cams as supercharged or nitrous so I shouldn't be hurting to much with HP gain at least when I am spraying.

I plan on getting a S/C later on but want to get the C&L Intake manifold and these cams over winter to get some good gains for now.

And suggestion on gains or if this is a bad idea due to the cams not running right on a N/A car. I 've seen multiple people running blower grinds on N/A cars and dont seem to have poblems but want to check all the bases first.

Is there anyone running these cams or blower grind in general while still N/A and if so what the verdict.

give me a call when you get this. Ive got some options that i want to throw around at you. The new (short runner) c&l intake manifolds are on their way to us and i have some other cam options id like to throw your way. im not sure an SPR cam is the way to go with your current mods, and for the price it costs to install them and the addition of the springs and retainers the gains arent really worth it. you are talking maybe 10hp more for an additional 1200+ in parts in labor compared to an NSR cam. give me a call, id like to talk with you more about it and get you into something that you are going to love without breaking the bank. our number is 574.594.9559 and my extension is 3

Thanks!

Yea the cams with porting and polishing will give you a much bigger Hp increase. I Think the best bang for the buck is going with a supercharger , if you can afford it. Nitrous is nice and not all that expensive. Nitrous is something you want to do your homework on. I am sure Brenspeed could help on any of the above options. They are very informative.

I will give you guys a call. Iam doing all the work myself I thought I mentioned that but I guess not. I thought about the NSR cams but want the extened RPM's for more mild race driven applications later on.

What is the main advantage of getting the titanium retainers V. Steel they are quite a bit more.

I've been running Nitrous for some time now and have plenty of precautions using it. I know stuff happens but I done all the research possible for it and made sure to get the proper tools and controllers to harness it safly ( well you know as save as can be ).
