Default 5.0L Stroker Engine Build

Well the engine is out and it broke a connecting rod just like we thought. Anyway time for a new short block. We have just started ordering parts.
So here goes: New 4.6L romeo iron block
3V Stroker Eagle Specialty Products forged rotating
assembly, Arias -19cc dish pistons, 9.3:1 (1000hp)
Motor mount adaptors
Bearings
Cometic headgaskets
ARP Main & Head stud kits
Stage 2 water/meth & safe injection
Fidanza flywheel 8 bolt
Spec Stage 3+ clutch (800 ftlbs)
Aeromotive fuel pump & regulator (1000hp)
80lbs fuel injectors
STS Turbo-same system, going to remove cats
header wrap exhaust pipes, remove "plug" from kit and
connect both sides of exhaust after H-pipe
Not sure what we are going turn the boost up to until we get it on the dyno. I want to make around 570-600 rwhp. Going to be an expensive winter at least I don't use my Mustang in the winter so it would be parked anyway. Our winters are brutal so I drive a beater in winter. My Mustang also gets to stay in a warm showroom behind the counter at my buddies shop, he will be doing most of the work. I don't have enough time to do the work and he is going to warranty the engine for 30,000km not time. I only put about 6-7000km a year and take it to the strip for street legal fridays (where the engine went up in smoke) so I think that is a bit of peace of mind. What do you guys/gals think of this set-up?

Sounds awesome to me. Why the switch to the heavier iron block? The aluminum one should hold the power you want. Unless you plan on making even more later?

Im assuming someone had a 4.6 Iron laying around to use at a good price.

The Aluminum block would have sufficed but no biggie! Just up the boost to compensate hehe

Looks like you have a pretty good build going. Let us know how it works out.

Good enough reason for me. It should be stronger and only a hundred pounds or so heavier.
