Really to me, keeping the rpms under 6000 revs is the single most important thing when it comes to the engine and long life.

9lbs on a stock short block, engines never been out of the car, 81,000 miles 1991 fox...

things happens doesn't matter if your pulling into the garage or it lets go at 9lbs of boost at 6000 rpm at the stripe.

all you can do is eliminate the common, good tune, plenty of fuel and you'll be fine!

I really hope for at least 50,000 miles. I never have seen above 4k rpm and drive it between 1.5k-2.5k 99% of the time. It has only gone that high for dyno runs. I am adding longtube headers and a catted x-pipe so I will be going back for tuning. Hopefully the longtubes will lower the boost a little and add more low end torque.
