i believe im having problems with my manual tranny, i drive my car pretty hard, how often do you guys recommend a tranny flush? my car has close to 13000 miles on it, is it time to get some new lubrication in the tranny?

You don't need to change at 13K. And there is no flushing involved on a manual, just a drain and fill.

There's actually nothing that calls for replacing it prior to 150,000 miles. I generally do mine about every 30.

What kind of issues are you having that you think new fluid would fix?

If it's having issues between gears it might be a synchro problem.

theres no real problem with the tranny it just feels weird on some gears, there is some noise on 5th and then it goes away when im in neutral and it comees back in 3rd but 4th is perfect, i mean its just those kind of problems i just dont want to mess up my tranny.
