Anyone else besides CDC making a duck tail spoiler?

I do like the CDC duck tail and hope they make them available soon. It would be nice to see what it will look like when they make the cutout for the brakelight though (every picture that I have seen of it has the brakelight covered).

Anyway, does anyone know of another manufacturer for a duck tail spoiler for the '05? (I know it is early, but I just thought I'd ask...)

yeah - now that I have seen some pics of those, I am thinking I am going to need to make a switch and dump the Ford spoiler for the ducktail - they look sweet!!

Does the CDC spoiler bolt up to the stock spoiler holes are would those have to be filled and the trunk lid repainted?

CLASSIC DESIGN CONCEPT 2005 MUSTANG DUCKTAIL REAR SPOILER
Fits 2005 GT & V6 Mustangs. This 3-piece spoiler attaches with bolts & acrylic bonding tape. Blow molded ABS. Some modifications may be required.

I belive you would have to fill the holes and repaint trunk. Thats is why people are doing spoiler deletes.

I was just at www.cal-mustang.com and went to 05 Musatng catalog. They have a picture of the CDC ducktail spoiler, with the third brake light in the spoiler. They list it available Feb. 28th. Heres the picture from the site, plus a couple I took at the Chicago auto show of the CDC SEMA Mustang, you can see how well the spoiler fits to the body. :thumbup It was a mad house around the Ford display, especially the SEMA Mustangs, the GR-1 concept,the GT, Mustang GT convertible and Saleen coupes. Went early Saturday and had a hard time getting pictures of all the Mustangs on diplay.

Thanks for the help Wildboar. I ordered my car Feb.3, I am gonna call the dealer Monday and see if it is to late to get the spoiler delete. Those ducktails look like the spoiler Ford should have used, the current factory spoilers look like an afterthought.

Those light covers are kinda cool but a bit over the top for me, I prefer a clean look. Plus here I live the cops would be lined up to ticket me for obstructing lights. Additionally I want the fog lights to be clearly visible so peep's know my ride is a GT

California Mustang offers two different ducktail spoilers.

The CDC ducktail spoiler does not have a provision for the 3rd brake light to be seen.

The SSE ducktail spoiler does have a cutout provision for the 3rd tail light to be seen.

The CDC is not available until possibly April.
The SSE is supposed to be available in about 2 weeks.
Both can be ordered now to get on the waiting lists for these parts for when they become available.
