Ordered January 14, Priority 10 but no DORA yet---Satin Silver Metallic, Black Leather, Black top, Shaker 1000, IUP, Ceramic Black Bullitt style rims and alarm w/locking lugs----

Hi inVERTed,

You mentioned that you had a 'Priority 10'. Do you know how or why you qualified for this rating? And what exactly does it infer?

I'm waiting on a GT coupe (IUP, Red Interior) that I ordered on Dec 9, but have a 'Priority 99' on my DORA.

This is wierd - when I had my dealership give me a quote printed out it had priority 99, today when I ordered it has priority code 11. I was wondering what that meant also? Any help from anyone working at a dealership. Thanks in advance!

priority 10 is the highest level of priority for build you can have, however, i have heard some orders with higher priorities get pushed through sooner as well, 99 is the lowest, in fact, i ahven't heard anyone that low on the list, that could be due to the fact that they are a low volume dealer and do not have a large allocation of mustangs due to sales figures, but that is just my best guess...........i should have my DORA by now but since Convertibles haven't started rolling down the line yet, could be the reason, if one doesn't materialize this week i will continue to badger my salesman, i have left him a wake up call almost everyday since my order!

I am new to this site and have found a lot of good info here. Ordered GT Vert Nov 12th Silver, IUP, Red Int, Shaker 1000, Wheel upgrade, 5 SPD. Status - Clean/unscheduled/not serialized. The last Mustang I owned was in High School. Saw the 05 and said "Gotta have one" I will be going on sixty this year. Can't wait to drive it and feel like 18 again!!!!

Ordered on 12/1/04. Clean & Unscheduled since first week in January. Do you think we'll get pulled in first week in Feb?? SonicBlueMike, are you picking up a vert today or you just didn't read the title of this post?

From the looks of things, on a few sites, based on this limited population, doesn't look like many Convertibles have been ordered..............very good for us as one out of every 4 down the line this week will be a drop top..............6-8 weeks? i hope.............

Here is a good rule of thumb to go by. Forget about what priority your car has. Count 12 to 14 weeks from the time you ordered your car and that is the date your car will be delivered. The last I heard there were over 30,000 ordered and that is why it is taking so long.
