You can't miss it. It is very bad and I had to back out of a friendly joust with a viper today, ( not like I was going to keep up anyway, but it's still fun to play ).

Thumbs down

This smells like a recall about to happen. Or maybe they'll tell us we shouldn't be driving that fast??

I've had it happen just the one time and I was on a overpass bridge that was clear of any hills so the cross-wind was probably a factor too. I've taking her over 80+ many times before without so much as a shake.

At 80-100mph I have experienced only the smoothest ride ever at these speeds. I had a 93 S10 Blazer with front end damage and my hood became misaligned. At 60mph my hood would shake tremendously, and anything over 70mph, scared anyone driving in my truck, as the hood kept lifting up and down a few inches. But as far my mustang, absolutely smooth, not a single vibration; traction and stability superb. This is one of the best features about this Mustang is how smooth it rides at high speeds. Sorry to hear others are having this problem.

HEY! I've noticed this too! Now you'll love this, I thought it must be a "normal" thing in a sports car? Alas! That tells you how long I had been driving trucks that never inspired me to go above 80mph

Where I noticed this was at the front of the hood near the windshield, also happens at normal speeds in a heavy headwind. (I live in a very windy area).

Love to hear if there is a fix without drilling into the hood.

No it's not just you...they have an appeal...and I'll use them....but drilling a hood is a hard pill to swallow for sure.

Hit 110 today and I watched the hood closely, no movement at all.

I have heard that it could help if the rubber stoppers that the hood rests on were ajusted so they were tighter...but ?????

I have been to 110 and never seen a movement in the hood....But I've also been at 70 and had a large truck pass coming at me and had the hood look like it could fly up ...high winds and gusts of wind are the main causes ..that I have noticed.............and this aluminum hood is probably part of the problem too...IMO

Now this is bad, A Hood flew off at the Grand-Am Cup 200.

While Marks kept the pressure on throughout the early running, the No. 55 machine appeared to have the upper hand on the BMW and the rest of the field. All of that changed, however, on Lap 12 when the car lost its hood as it moved onto the back straightaway. Empringham managed to keep the car in the lead, and a well-timed full-course caution for another incident at almost the same time allowed Empringham to maintain the lead for the moment.

"I have no idea how they hood flew off - I thought we had it locked down," Empringham said. "I was just glad it didn't stay on and it just flew off. It didn't really have any effect on our race except it might have cost us some time in the pits."

I get no hood shake.........nothing at all.100mph and nothing but smooth sailing.

I was impressed withthe smooth handling. Not a shimmy shake or anything.

I've noticed that you can pull on the front corners of the hood and it moves quite a bit. sounds quite loose. For those of you that don't notice problems. Can you give your front corners a tugg to see they come up? You should hear a pop noise, like a metal to metal sound.

Didn't notice anything with mine, I pulled up a bit and it felt solid
