Default A/C Compressor Cycling

Even with my A/C off the compressor seems to be cycling. Any ideas. It is not a fast cyle but once every minute or so.

Is it all the time? Or when you run your defroster? Some cars use the AC system to clear the windows, although I'm not sure if Ford does this

I have the heater on, but not always the defroster. I'll double check today and see if that is the only time it comes on.

Yeah it is normal to have the A/C cycle when using the defroster.
