Default paint defects and body panel issues

I have a White 05 GT. I discovered on the edge of the trunk lid that it was not painted properly. It had bubbles in the paint and it looked like it did not dry properly. After going to 3 different dealerships and dealing with the mongoloid body shop guys, I was fortunate enough to find a dealership that farms out their body work to an independent shop that does kick ass work. They are now going to fix it under warranty and they claim it will be perfect and I won't be able to tell afterwards. I also have a minor issue with the rear bumper not fitting flush with the body. I am going to have them try to fix this as well and go over the entire car and make sure everything is in order. It sucks having to deal with this on a brand new car, but in the end all I care about is that it will be fixed. I may have to rent a car though while they do the paint work. I am not that stoked on paying $40 a day for a rental but I will try to talk the dealership into picking up the cost. Anyway, just curious if any others out there have had similar issues with the paint or body.

Well I have some alignment issues with my hood. The right side near the windshield is sticking up higher and is not flush with the fender unlike the driver side. You think the dealer can fix this?

Yeah, I think they can fix your hood problem. It just sucks that some dealerships are animals and others are responsive and knowledgable. If you don't get an answer you like, I suggest just leaving. Don't trust your car to someone who doesn't even care to help you.
