Default twin screw or centrifugal supercharger?

a bit off topic... but what are the benefits and drawbacks to these two types of superchargers? what circumstances does one outperform the other?

Sounded to me like the screw made power right away and the cent had to have the R's up before it started working good,

After reading the install of a Vortech unit into a GT Mustang(5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine April '05 issue), I'm definitely leaning towards a screw compressor. Ford racing parts is supposed to be coming out with one this spring. There are pros and cons to both systems, for me I'd rather a sustained push from lower rpms (screw compressor) versus higher output from the centrifugal type.
