Kevinrox, good job, looks good. I didn't stop there, but I did hear about them on the radio when I was researching a good tint shop. I gave them a call and they quoted me $300, ouch. (average was $200) They were the most expensive store of all the stores, but they do have a good reputation. $450 seems to be outrageous, but as long your happy with their service and tint job, that's all that matters. I like the spinners on the Bullits!
I am going to try Street Smart on Thursday...
Thanks RedD for you insights I will post pictures....
Street Smart (La Mesa) – 20+ years in San Diego. Uses Solar Gard, but highly recommends Global G-lux. Has a dark charcoal color, lifetime non fade. Independent owner, very knowledgeable. Showed me his truck with 20% Global and it looked real good. I think it’s a little too dark, I would go 30% all around. His buddy was telling me he had 20% installed and was pulled over by a cop and had to remove the rear front later. (Price: $229)

I suggest that anyone investing in a new stang gt go get thier windows tinted from this guy... He hooked it up... He new about inserting the felt so there are no scratches.... I have a picture now but does not do it justice because it is with a Phone Camera and the sun is real right.
Went with the GLOBAL 20% all the way around :thumbsup
I had my windows tinted at Audio Excellence in Bonita (Chula Vista). I paid $170 plus tax. Rear window is dark and side windows are med. They are located at 4024 Bonita Rd, Bonita 91902. (619) 472-2955. I have the lift time Warr. also. They did my silver 05, and talk to the owner George. Tell him Ed sent you
I no longer recommend this shop. First tint on rear window had to be redone. After a lot of BS and gettting it back in the shop, the dum*** put the wrong tint on. Again after more BS and waiting over a week to get it back in the shop, then waiting 9 HOURS (tint removed) and then had to leave the car there over night so that they could complete the job. Then I found two white objects under the tint and a small bug. The shop just SUCKS, find a better place to get your window tinted.
actually it does mean somethings ... just lets other law enforcement agencies know your affiliated with some sort of law enforcement.. will it get you out of a ticket i highly doubt it .. i might but then again it might now .. i just got it caues my friend gave me one and im actually in the process of being in the law enforcement ..
okay, okay, it does mean something , but it won't get you out of a ticket. Good luck with the LE job...hoping to get on in a couple months myself.
I have had all my cars tinted at Mr. Tint, they have locations everywhere, I have only used Temecula, they do a great job, it might be worth the drive.........I have not had any problems.
If you don't get limo all around, you should not have a problem with the cops, they just like to see that your seatbelt is on. Stay with the same tint all the way around, looks better.
I'm probably going with Mr. Tint also as they are just down the street from my work office and I've watched them for years and when i stopped in today they had an '06 that they just finished up and it looked great.......
